Were there prophets after Jesus (peace be upon him) other than Muhammad (peace be upon him), and what is the authenticity of the story of John (peace be upon him) being killed by Nebuchadnezzar?

There was no prophet with an independent law between Jesus (peace be upon him) and Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I am the closest of people to the son of Mary, and the prophets are paternal half-brothers, and there is no prophet between me and him." The three inhabitants of the town were followers of Jesus, and Jesus was the last of the prophets of the Children of Israel who had a law. The existence of prophets after Jesus does not negate the misguidance of the Christians. The mentioned narration from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab concerning the blood has a sound chain of narration to him, but it does not state that it was the blood of John (Yahya), and Ibn al-Athir refuted it being the blood of John.
