Is the use of artificial flowers for decoration in the home forbidden on the grounds of imitating Allah's creation, and if it is not forbidden, is it then disliked for that reason?

There is no harm in using decorations made of plastic or other materials shaped like roses and flowers in the home, and there is no prohibition against manufacturing them, because the prohibition applies only to depicting living beings.
