How can one refute the specious argument denying resurrection after death, claiming it is impossible, and the specious argument of the polytheists who justify their polytheism by Allah's decree and will?

Deniers of the Resurrection have rejected its reality since the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him. The Holy Quran has refuted their false arguments using several methods, including: Citing the creation of the first human, arguing that whoever created him the first time is capable of recreating him. Citing Allah Almighty's comprehensive power, for His power is not like that of weak creatures. Citing the creation of mighty creatures such as the heavens and the earth, arguing that whoever was able to create them is able to create humans and resurrect them after death. Citing instances of raising the dead in stories that occurred among the Children of Israel.

As for their argument that predestination justifies committing disbelief (kufr) and polytheism (shirk), it is invalid by the consensus of people of all faiths and those of sound mind, because it is the argument of the self-contradictory person who follows his whims. If predestination were an excuse for sins, it would not be permissible to blame or punish anyone. Refuting the argument of predestination does not contradict belief in it. Rather, one must believe in predestination while rejecting its use to justify evil deeds, because Allah does not love corruption and does not approve of disbelief for His servants. Although what occurs is by His cosmic will and power, Allah commands obedience and forbids disobedience, both inwardly and outwardly.
