Ezra is a Jewish name. Allah mentioned him in the Quran, condemning the Jews for claiming he was the son of God. Ibn Kathir said: "It is well-known that Ezra was a prophet from among the Children of Israel." Therefore, there is no harm in naming someone Ezra, as long as there is no inclination or influence from the Jews.
