How did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, see people being tormented in the Fire and others in Paradise before the Day of Judgment?

If we believe in Allah's absolute power, it becomes easy for us to believe what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told us. Allah, who is capable of creating time, can show His Messenger in this world matters that will occur on the Day of Resurrection. Just as He enabled him to see Paradise and Hell displayed on the wall during the eclipse prayer, and he almost brought a bunch of fruits from Paradise despite the great distance. So, He who can bring places closer is not incapable of doing with time what He wills, and showing him live scenes of what will be on the Day of Resurrection, for Allah is over all things competent.
