What is "Al-Nura" (depilatory lime), and did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, use it, and what are the indications of that from the Sunnah?

"Nura" is a compound of calcium and arsenic used for hair removal. No authentic hadith has been reported regarding the Prophet, peace be upon him, using it. However, there is no harm in using it or other methods for hair removal, as long as they are not harmful. Shaving is preferable, as it is mentioned in the Sunnah and is the view of the majority of jurists.
