Is the reason for the abuse and beatings I endure from my husband due to my persistence in supplication and my haste in seeking marriage, and what should I do about it?

A husband's generosity towards his wife is a sign of his noble character, while his mistreatment of her stems from his ignoble nature. Supplication (Du'a) is answered if its conditions are met and its impediments are absent. However, the answer may not be in receiving exactly what was supplicated for; rather, Allah may replace it with something better. For "there is no Muslim who supplicates with a supplication in which there is no sin or breaking of kinship ties, but Allah will grant him one of three things: either He will hasten his supplication for him, or He will store it for him in the Hereafter, or He will avert from him an evil equivalent to it." The wife is advised to be patient with her husband and to frequently supplicate for his righteousness. If he does not straighten himself out, she has the right to seek a divorce after discerning what is in her best interest.
