What is the ruling on shaving the beard and associating with those who are not committed, after some righteous people have been mistreated?

The influence of a friend on his friend is something proven by both Islamic law and reality. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave an example of a good companion and a bad companion. Therefore, beware of associating with bad company, whose influence will quickly become apparent on you, and do not be deceived by their smiles. Remember the regret of the unjust on the Day of Judgment for befriending the wicked. We advise you to abandon the company of these people and seek out good people who will help you adhere to the truth. As for shunning good people, it may be unintentional, and you can express your concerns to some of them if it is for the sake of Allah. Finally, never shave your beard; for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded that it be left to grow. It would have been better for you to draw your friends towards righteousness rather than being drawn yourself towards corrupt people.
