There is no objection to paying electricity bills, as its use has become an urgent necessity, and the default ruling for its use is permissibility. The fact that some household members use it for purposes not permissible in Sharia does not mean that introducing electricity into the home is forbidden; rather, it means that their actions are forbidden, and they bear the sin for them.
