Is it permissible for a woman who has been divorced for the second time, and is in the second month of her 'iddah, to travel for an essential work training course accompanied by a mahram?

A woman observing her 'iddah (definition) (waiting period) must remain in the marital home until her 'iddah concludes. She should not leave except out of necessity or a valid excuse; otherwise, she incurs sin. Scholars have differed regarding the permissibility of a woman observing 'iddah leaving her home: The Hanafis and Shafi'is are of the opinion that a woman observing 'iddah after a revocable divorce (raj'iyyah) is not permitted to leave, neither by night nor by day. In contrast, the Malikis and Hanbalis permit a woman observing 'iddah after a revocable divorce to leave during the day to attend to her needs, provided she remains in her home at night. However, scholars have unanimously agreed on the permissibility for a woman observing 'iddah to leave in cases of necessity. As for travel, it is not permissible for a woman observing 'iddah to initiate travel, whether short or long distance; rather, she must remain in the marital home.
