His father inherits one-sixth and his mother one-sixth due to the presence of a lineal descendant. If he had a wife, she takes one-eighth, and the remainder goes to his children. Then, the estate of the father, who died after Abd al-Qadir, is divided: his wife takes one-eighth, and the remainder goes to his sons and daughters, with the male receiving the share of two females. Next, the estate of Amina, who died after her father, is divided: her mother takes one-sixth, and if she had a husband, he takes one-quarter, with the remainder going to her sons, the male receiving the share of two females. Then, the estate of the mother, who died after Amina, is divided among her living sons and daughters only, with the male receiving the share of two females. After that, the estate of Yasin, who died after his mother, is divided equally among his male children, and if he had a wife, she takes one-eighth. As for the estate of Abd al-Rahman, it is divided among his brothers and sisters by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship) after adding his share from his parents' estates, with the male receiving the share of two females. If he had a wife, she receives one-quarter. A crucial note: inheritance matters are serious and require referral to Sharia courts to investigate the existence of wills, debts, or other heirs.
