Is the feeling that memorizing the Quran was for show and that its owner is among those for whom the Fire will be kindled considered a whisper from Satan?

Your weeping and fear of showing off (riya') are a sign of goodness, for this was the state of the Salaf (pious predecessors). However, this fear should be healthy and positive, leading to more good deeds and diligence in doing good while monitoring the heart, not a fear that destroys, demolishes, and hinders obedience. A servant's fear of their deeds becoming void is only beneficial if it is mixed with good presumption of Allah and accompanied by hope. Ibn al-Qayyim said: "The heart in its journey to Allah, the Almighty, is like a bird: love is its head, and fear and hope are its two wings."
