Can what a person finds to be the taste of blood in his saliva at dawn, after reading a fatwa concerning bleeding from the mouth, be the work of Satan? If not, what is its cause? What is the ruling on prayer when there is an urgent need to urinate, or when madhiy is discharged, or when there is a smell of feces? Is redoing the prayer obligatory? Is the prayer valid if it was performed out of fear of the time expiring, without taking precautions despite the presence of madhiy or residual urine? Must a prayer be redone if the worshiper inwardly conditioned its redoing on a specific condition?

It is recommended to have a good opinion of Allah, and that religion is easy, and that hardship is removed. Your feeling of the taste of blood without seeing it is from the delusions of waswasa (whispers of Satan), so you must ignore them. If no time remains for the prayer, then perform ablution and pray according to your condition, and do not delay the prayer. Precaution (al-tahaffuz) is obligatory according to the majority of scholars, but Malik permitted abandoning it if the hadath (ritual impurity) exits without one's choice. You are allowed to adopt his madhhab if it becomes difficult for you. Your prayer is valid, and you are not required to repeat it. We advise you to constantly supplicate, and humble yourself, and to distract yourself from these waswasa, and to consult a trustworthy psychiatrist.
