What is the way to help a recently married young woman who is suffering from severe pain that prevents her from intercourse due to childhood sexual abuse, knowing that her husband is patient and understands her situation?

A husband must be gentle when having intercourse with his wife if she is in pain, and he should be patient with her until she recovers or becomes accustomed to it. Ibn Hazm stated that "it is obligatory for both the slave woman and the free woman not to deny their master or husband intercourse when he calls them, unless the one called is menstruating, or sick and would be harmed by intercourse, or observing an obligatory fast." The wife must treat herself physically and psychologically, and not surrender to psychological pain, as physical pain subsides with patience and endurance. Both of them should frequently supplicate and consistently observe God's ordinances.
