What is the ruling on intercourse between the thighs during the daytime in Ramadan if the husband is in a state similar to being asleep?

If a husband fondles his wife during the daytime in Ramadan (definition) and neither of them ejaculates, their fast remains valid. However, if ejaculation occurs, the fast of the one who ejaculated is invalidated, and they must make up that day. If the husband was aware of what he was doing, his fast is invalid. But if he was not aware of what he was doing due to being overwhelmed by sleep, then there is nothing upon him; because accountability is lifted from the sleeper.
