If a person wishes to memorize the Qur'an, what do you advise them with?

We advise anyone who wishes to memorize the Qur’an to start from Surat Al-Baqarah, unless they find it easier to memorize from Juz’ Al-Mufassal due to its shorter surahs and frequent listening to them; in that case, they should start with what is easier. We also advise focusing on reviewing what has been memorized more than on memorizing a large quantity.
