Should a female student complete her study of medicine and the internship phase, with all that it entails, such as dissecting cadavers and seeing the awrah of the dead? Is her study considered Fard Ayn (an individual obligation) or Fard Kifayah (a collective obligation)? Is it better for her to abandon her studies to preserve her religion?

It is permissible to dissect the bodies of the deceased for educational purposes, subject to specific Islamic guidelines. These include: obtaining the body through lawful means, preserving its sanctity and showing it due respect, ensuring that the student does not exceed the necessary extent in its use, and avoiding looking at the 'awrah (private parts) except in cases of extreme necessity, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not expose your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of a living or dead person." The study of medicine is considered a communal obligation (fard kifayah), and continuing in it is beneficial for both the student and the Muslims.
