If they respond positively, then that is good and a blessing. Otherwise, interaction with them can be limited to what maintains kinship and prevents harm, while adhering to hijab and avoiding mixing with non-mahrams, because safeguarding one's religion takes precedence. If mixing leads to the loss or diminution of one's religion, then abandonment and isolation become obligatory.
