What is the remainder of the noble Hadith: "I have left among you that which, if you hold fast to it, you will never go astray after me..."?

A hadith with the exact wording mentioned has not been found, but similar wordings have been reported in Sahih Muslim and At-Tirmidhi. Among these is the hadith of Jabir concerning the Farewell Pilgrimage, where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned leaving behind the Book of Allah. At-Tirmidhi also narrated from Zayd ibn Arqam that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, I am leaving among you that which, if you hold fast to it, you will never go astray after me. One of them is greater than the other: The Book of Allah, a rope extended from the heaven to the earth, and my 'Itrah (family), my Ahl al-Bayt (household)." And in Sahih Muslim, also from Zayd ibn Arqam, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am leaving among you two weighty things, the first of which is: The Book of Allah... Then he said: And my Ahl al-Bayt. I remind you by Allah concerning my Ahl al-Bayt."
