What is the reference for the Hadith: "Do not associate anything with Allah, and do not abandon prayer intentionally, for whoever abandons it intentionally and deliberately has left the fold of Islam," and which imams authenticated or graded it as good, and in which book and on what page?

This website's usual practice is not to quote the الحديث (Hadith) as transmitted from the Imams, as Imam Ibn Uthaymeen cited it, except when summarizing the discourse or mentioning the narrations attributed to him.

The aforementioned Hadith is narrated by Al-Shashi, Ibn Nasr, and others, from Yazid bin Qawdhar, from Salamah bin Shuraih, from Ubadah bin Al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him): "Do not associate anything with Allah, even if you are قطعتم (cut into pieces), or burnt, or crucified. And do not intentionally abandon Salah (prayer), for whoever intentionally abandons it has exited the religion. And do not approach Khamr (intoxicants), for it is the head of all sins."

The chain of narration for this Hadith is weak due to the presence of Yazid bin Qawdhar, whose status is unknown, and Salamah bin Shuraih, who is not known.

There is a Hadith with a similar meaning narrated by Abu Al-Darda: "Do not associate anything with Allah, even if you are cut into pieces and burnt. And do not intentionally abandon an obligatory prayer, for whoever intentionally abandons it, the protection (of Allah) has disassociated from him. And do not drink Khamr (intoxicants), for it is the key to all evil."

Despite the weakness of these two Hadiths, scholars cite them in this context because their weakness is slight and may be compensated by supporting narrations (shawahid), as Ibn Al-Mulaqqin authenticated it in "Mukhtasar Istidrak Al-Hafiz Al-Dhahabi."
