How can one escape the whisperings of Satan while having a sharp-tongued wife, and reconcile the thoughts of divorcing her with acceptance of divine decree and destiny, taking into account the wavering commitment to prayer?

It is legally and logically unacceptable to use divine decree as an excuse to remain in a bad situation, such as with a spouse who has a bad temperament. This is no different from changing a job or a home if their conditions deteriorate. The questioner should not link his wife's bad temperament with abandoning prayer; for abandoning prayer is a grave sin, and there is no choice in it, whereas divorce is permissible and sometimes even recommended in the case of a spouse with a bad temperament.

The questioner must immediately repent from abandoning prayer and magnify its status. The husband should admonish and guide his wife, and if that does not work, then divorce is the solution. He should ask Allah to grant him a righteous wife, and he should seek a religious woman in his next choice, and he should maintain the practice of Salatul-Istikharah (prayer for guidance).
