Does divorce take effect if the husband says, while angry, "If you open the door, you are divorced," even if he intended not to effectuate divorce?

Anger that does not remove one's awareness does not affect the ruling on divorce. If the husband says, "You are divorced," it is an explicit divorce that takes effect without intention. If he made the divorce conditional on opening the door, then as soon as the door is opened, the divorce takes effect, because it is a pure contingency. If this was the first or second divorce, the husband may take back his wife before the expiration of her waiting period (iddah).
