Does Allah's saying: "Therein you shall live, and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought forth" mean the failure of human attempts to colonize Mars, or does the verse have another interpretation?

Ibn Kathir mentioned that the verse: "In it you will live, and in it you will die, and from it you will be brought forth" means that the Earth is the abode for the Children of Adam for worldly life, and in it is their death and their graves, and from it they will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection.

This does not necessitate the failure of exploratory missions to other planets; rather, the general stability of humans is on Earth. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen mentioned that the verse emphasizes that attempts to live outside of Earth are futile, because stability must be on Earth. And if a limited stay for individuals on another planet is decreed, it does not change the matter; for the ruling is for the غالب (prevailing condition).
