Can people imprison jinn in bottles or control them, as some claim?

Control over a jinn and imprisoning it in a bottle or a human body is done by sorcerers who draw near to the rebellious jinn through disbelief (kufr), and their punishment is execution. As for anyone who claims this without drawing near to jinn, it is likely that they are deluded or a liar, because this knowledge is only derived from the jinn's statement, and a jinn may lie. Imprisoning a jinn is possible, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did when he intended to bind an 'ifrit, but how can this be proven to a human? A Muslim should busy himself with what is beneficial and leave what is fruitless.
