Is the meat considered halal if a dying sheep, which was not breathing before the slaughter, was slaughtered, knowing that a small amount of blood flowed after the slaughter and it continued to move?

The slaughtered animal is permissible and its meat lawful to eat if it was slaughtered while it had hayat mustaqirra (a stable life); this is identified by the movement of its hand, leg, tail, or the corner of its eye, or by the gushing of blood from it.

However, if the animal did not move before slaughter, and its life was known or presumed, and blood gushed when it was slaughtered or it moved afterwards, scholars have differed on this matter. The more cautious approach is not to eat it unless it moved, even if only a hand, a leg, a corner of an eye, or a twitch of its tail.

Based on this, as long as the sheep moved after being slaughtered and blood gushed from it, there is no harm in eating it, unless its illness would cause harm to those who eat it.
