Is it permissible to read the Quran for a number of days to solve a problem, or must one continue?

There is no harm in drawing closer to Allah by reciting the Qur’an to gain a worldly benefit, as this is a permissible form of intercession through righteous deeds. However, stopping its recitation after the problem is solved is considered abandoning the Qur’an. We regret the state of those who abandon the Qur’an and do not recite it except out of necessity, and we advise them to fear Allah and re-examine their connection with the Qur’an.
