Do the verses that refer to the Christ not dying contradict the verse: "And peace be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I am resurrected alive," which acknowledges the death of Jesus, peace be upon him?

Evidence from the Quran and Sunnah indicates that Jesus, peace be upon him, is still alive, and that Allah raised him to Himself, and he will descend at the end of time, then die, and Muslims will pray over him. This is supported by Allah's saying: "And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [rather] it was made to appear to them [thus]" up to His saying: "Rather, Allah raised him to Himself." And the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The Son of Mary will soon descend among you as a just judge," and so on.

As for Allah's saying: "And peace is upon me the day I was born and the day I die and the day I am resurrected alive," it does not indicate his death, but rather that he will die like all creatures at the end of time.
