Is the Hadith Qudsi: "A man comes and says: 'O Allah, make me rich,' so Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says to His angels: 'Turn away this richness from My servant, for if I make him rich, he will transgress,'" weak, and what is the ruling on disseminating a clip containing it if it is weak?

A hadith with this wording has not been found. If it is claimed to be a Hadith Qudsi, it is not permissible to disseminate it without clarifying its lack of authenticity or by removing it entirely. If it is said to describe a servant's state with his Lord, and not as a hadith, then it is less problematic. The meaning can be conveyed without presenting it as a hadith, for Allah Almighty possesses profound wisdom in expanding and restricting provisions, and for some, wealth or poverty may be better for their condition. There is no harm in supplicating for wealth.
