Several interpretations have been mentioned regarding how the resemblance was cast upon another person who was crucified instead of Jesus, peace be upon him, and that the Jews and Christians differed concerning the reality of what occurred. Jesus, peace be upon him, will descend before the Hour to rule by the Islamic Sharia, break the cross, kill the swine, and destroy the Antichrist (Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal).
