Why does Allah test some Muslims and not others, even though they are equal in sins, and He may test a person for the sins of their parents?

Allah is Wise, and He is not questioned about what He does due to the perfection of His wisdom and justice. Minds are incapable of comprehending the secrets of His wisdom. Well-being is not always a sign of honor, and affliction is not always a sign of disgrace. Allah may test His beloved servant to purify him and elevate his ranks, and He may leave the wrongdoer in well-being as a means of gradual enticement. The delights of this world vanish with a single dip in Hellfire, and misery vanishes with a single dip in Paradise. Happy is he who transitions to the honor of Allah, and wretched is he who transitions to His wrath. The obedient person is happy even if he suffers poverty, and the disobedient person is wretched even if he lives in luxury; no one perceives this except for those who turn to Allah. "No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another," and Allah does not punish the righteous for the corruption of their parents.
