What is the ruling on going to a woman who claims to cure certain diseases (such as internal medicine and cartilage) for a small fee (five Egyptian pounds), given that she selects the cases she accepts and turns away those who speak ill of her, and noting the improvement of some of the cases she treats?

If the girl is treated with the Quran, adhkar (remembrances), and legitimate supplications, then there is no harm in approaching her, with the obligation to lower the gaze and avoid being alone with her. However, if she treats with magic, sorcery, harnessing jinn, or claims to know the unseen, then it is not permissible to approach her or seek treatment from her, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever comes to a soothsayer or a diviner and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." There is no difference in the ruling whether she takes money or not.
