Were there any Companions who were orphaned by both parents or one of them?

The community of the Companions, like other societies, included orphans who had lost both parents or one of them. Examples include the children of Asma bint Umays, who became fatherless after the death of Ja'far ibn Abi Talib; Zayd ibn Arqam, who was an orphan under the care of Abdullah ibn Rawaha; Umayr ibn Sa'd, who was an orphan under the care of his stepfather, Al-Jallas ibn Suwayd al-Ansari; and Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, who was raised by his aunt, Aisha. An orphan, in reality, is one whose father has died while they are young and have not yet reached puberty.
