Will the love of the righteous and people of piety and righteousness intercede for a servant on the Day of Judgment, even if he did not perform their deeds and was among the people of sins and transgressions?

The love of believers is a requirement of Tawhid (monotheism) and carries immense reward. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah عز وجل (the Mighty and Majestic) said: 'Those who love one another for My glory will have pulpits of light that the Prophets and martyrs will envy.'" And Allah تعالى (the Most High) said: "My love is guaranteed for those who love one another for My sake, those who sit together for My sake, and those who visit one another for My sake." For a small deed to reach the status of the good deeds of the beloved righteous ones for the sake of Allah, one must repent from sins and shortcomings towards Allah, and free oneself from obligations towards creation. One of the signs of sincere love is to emulate the actions of those you love. Al-Hasan al-Basri said: "Do not be deceived by his saying, 'You will be with whom you love.' For whoever loves a people follows in their footsteps. You will not attain the righteous until you follow in their footsteps and emulate their Sunnah."
