Is it possible to help with a public declaration of Islam for someone who has converted to Islam and is facing family problems due to their prominent Christian background, and wishes not to spend Christian holidays in their country?

Embracing Islam is easy, as one testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and then commits to performing the obligatory duties. If a Muslim fears harm to themselves, it is permissible for them to conceal their faith, as did the believer from the family of Pharaoh. Allah Almighty says: "And a believing man from the family of Pharaoh, who concealed his faith, said..." It is also permissible to participate in non-Muslim holidays while inwardly disapproving of it, if there is fear for one's safety. Uttering disbelief is permissible under coercion, as Allah Almighty said: "except for him who is compelled [to do so] while his heart is at rest in faith." Once the fear subsides, Islam must be declared openly.
