What is the ruling on making up one missed prayer with each obligatory prayer and performing supererogatory prayers, in order to reconcile the obligation of making up prayers with increasing supererogatory acts, and what should I do if it becomes difficult for me to achieve devotion with the abundance of prayers?

You must observe prayer and beware of abandoning it, for it is the second pillar of Islam and the first thing a servant will be questioned about. The majority of scholars are of the opinion that missed prayers must be made up. Accordingly, you must immediately make up the prayers you missed previously, to the best of your ability at any time, without causing harm to your body or livelihood. It suffices to make up the prayers of two days in one day at least, unless this causes harm to your livelihood. This making up of prayers is closer to piety and precaution to expiate for past negligence. If you cannot determine the exact number of missed prayers, continue making them up until you are reasonably certain that your obligation has been fulfilled.
