Which name of the Holy Qur'an is mentioned most frequently, and why?

The most famous and widely used name for the Noble Qur’an is "Al-Qur’an" (the Recitation), because it is recited by tongues from memory and from the mushaf (codex). It was given this name because it is recited by tongues, just as it was named "Kitab" (the Book) because it is written down with pens.
