This knot originates from Satan, who casts fear into the believer's heart to discourage them and keep them in worry and anxiety. Therefore, seek refuge with Allah from his insinuations, and protect yourself from his misguidance and whisperings by remembering Allah, reciting the Quran, and relying on Allah. Know that nothing befalls a believer except what has been decreed for them. Allah Almighty said: "No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We create it" (Quran 57:22). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Ibn Abbas: "If you ask, ask Allah; and if you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that if the whole nation were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with something Allah had already written for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you with something, they would not harm you except with something Allah had already written against you. The pens have been lifted, and the pages have dried." If you keep this in mind, the fear you find will disappear. So, rely on Allah and consistently observe the morning and evening remembrances, recite Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat Al-Kursi, and the Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas), and turn away from these whisperings and delusions. There is no harm in consulting a psychiatrist to present your problem, as it is an ailment, and Allah has not sent down an ailment except that He has sent down a cure for it.
