What is the jurisprudential ruling on hysterectomy and uterine transplantation?

"It is not permissible to remove the uterus unless there is a necessity. As for uterine transplantation, the Islamic Fiqh Academy issued a resolution permitting the transplantation of reproductive organ parts that do not transmit hereditary traits—with the exception of the most private parts (al-awrat al-mughallazah)—for a legitimate necessity and according to sharia guidelines and standards. What we know is that the uterus does not transmit hereditary traits."
