Is reading manga about the conflict between demons and humans forbidden (haram)?

Fictional comics are permissible as long as they are free from Sharia prohibitions, such as contradicting sound creed or advocating corruption. Nevertheless, directing one's time and effort towards what is more beneficial and righteous is better.
