What is the ruling on informing one شيخ of the abomination of sodomy committed by another شيخ, as well as informing him of the abomination of fornication committed by a student, knowing that there are witnesses to both cases, and taking into consideration that informing him may lead to an angry reaction from the شيخ, which could cause harm to the informant and his companions, especially since the شيخ has a Facebook page where naked pictures of one of his daughters are published?

The Sharia has been strict in proving immoral acts, requiring four male witnesses who clearly saw the act. If one of them recants, the remaining witnesses become liable for the punishment for slander. The matter is not trivial to be built on hearsay, especially when it concerns a Sheikh who teaches the Quran.
