Is it permissible to pray in congregation at a workplace carpeted with mosque prayer rugs, or is it better to pray at a mosque located one kilometer away from the company?

Scholars have differed regarding the location of congregational prayer. The majority of them are of the view that it is valid in any place, and the mosque is not a condition for its performance. However, praying in the mosque is better and carries a greater reward, due to the virtue of frequenting mosques, and to avoid disagreement.
