What is the ruling on addressing a girl if she initiates by saying, "You'll come," and what is the ruling on responding to her?

It is permissible to speak with an old man, an old woman, and a young woman if there is no fear of temptation and there is a need, as long as there is no apprehension of temptation. This is supported by the words of Allah Almighty: "So do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech" (Quran 33:32). And by the hadith of Aisha: "No, by Allah, the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, never touched the hand of any woman at all; rather, he swore allegiance to them verbally." However, if there is a fear of temptation, one must refrain from speaking with a non-mahram woman, such as a beautiful young woman. In such a case, it is not permissible to greet her with salaam, nor is it permissible for her to return the greeting, nor is it permissible for her to initiate the greeting. Silence is safer when there is a fear of temptation.
