Is reciting Surat Yasin daily after reciting whatever is easily available from the Qur’an considered an innovation (bid‘ah), and should one continue reciting it?

Reciting the Quran is a great act of worship. However, one should not commit to reading a specific surah at a particular time, believing there is a special legal basis for it without evidence. Persistently reading Surah Yasin every day has no proven legal evidence, and all narrations concerning it are weak. Therefore, it is advised to increase one's recitation of the Quran in general.
