How authentic is the Hadith: "When you wake up, pray," which the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, said to Safwan when his wife complained about him because he would not pray until the sun rose?

The aforementioned hadith is narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, where a woman, the wife of Safwan ibn al-Mu'attal, came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, complaining about her husband, saying that he beats her if she prays, makes her break her fast if she fasts, and does not pray Fajr until the sun rises.

Safwan responded to this by saying that she recites two surahs when he forbade her, that she fasts while he is young and cannot bear it, and that they are a household that does not wake up until after sunrise.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied to him that one surah is sufficient, and said: "A woman should not fast except with her husband's permission," and "If you wake up, pray."

The hadith is authentic, and what is mentioned in it about Safwan not waking up does not detract from him, because he was a heavy sleeper. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no negligence in sleep. Negligence is only on him who does not pray the prayer until the time for the next prayer comes."
