Does Salat al-Tasabih forgive all major sins, including adultery and drinking alcohol, whether committed in the past or in the future, if performed once?

The prayer of Tasabih is mentioned in a hadith narrated by Abu Dawud and others, which Sheikh Al-Albani authenticated. We are inclined to believe that its grade is no less than hasan due to the multiplicity of its chains of transmission. It appears from the hadith that whoever performs it once will have all their sins forgiven: the first and the last, the old and the new, the unintentional and the intentional, the minor and the major, the secret and the open, encompassing both minor and major sins. As for the forgiveness of future sins, Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar responded that this is an allusion to their preservation from major sins, so that they will not commit them thereafter, or that their sins will be committed in a state of forgiveness. These virtues do not include those who persist in disobedience but are exclusive to those who are upright in obeying Allah's commands.
