Does the continuous illness of the child "Dania Fatima" necessitate changing her name Islamically?

The name "Dania Fatimah" has no legal impediment according to Islamic law. "Dania" means close or near, and it is an acceptable name mentioned in the Quran. Illnesses are a divine decree from Allah and are not caused by a name; there is no connection between them. The effect of a name is psychological, not predestined; a good name encourages good deeds. However, if the name intends to attribute servitude, sustenance, or the management of the newborn's affairs to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), or that she is close to her in this polytheistic sense, then it must be changed. We do not advise changing the name to treat a child unless it has a polytheistic intention. Rather, treatment should be sought through medical means, supplication (du'a), and charity (sadaqah).
