What is the ruling of Islamic law on a father's polygamous marriage, especially when his first wife contributed to building his wealth and home? Is it permissible for him to house his wives with his daughter in her home? And what should the wife do if she requests a divorce due to his polygamous marriage?

Polygyny is permissible on condition of ability and justice, and there is no injustice to the first wife as long as the husband fulfills her rights and is just between his wives. She is not allowed to seek divorce merely because he married another. A wife's assistance to her husband is a sign of good companionship and noble character. If she contributed to building the house as a partner, the husband is not allowed to house his other wife in it except with her permission. However, if it was a donation, the house is the husband's property, and he may house his other wife in it, but it is an act of kindness to remember the good deed of his first wife.
