ما هو سبب احتقار الأب والجد للابن المستنكِر لجيله، وكيف يمكن معالجة هذه المشكلة؟

The status of parents is great, and one must seize the opportunity to be good to them, for Allah has coupled the command to worship Him alone with being dutiful to parents. It is incumbent upon you to be good to them, to obey them, to show affection and respect, and to listen attentively to their speech. The reason parents might reject what their children say could be the manner of presentation, or the children’s belief that something incorrect is correct, or generational differences. You must be wise in presenting what you have by choosing the appropriate method, and show them what you want through your actions before your words, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did. You should not clash with your parents' feelings or refute their opinions under the pretext that they are outdated, or describe them as ignorant, even if what they said or did is proven wrong.
