The answer

A Muslim dislikes celebrating their separation from their spouse, because the separation between spouses is something that Satan loves and Allah the Almighty dislikes. This is based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, Iblis places his throne upon water, then he dispatches his detachments. The one who is lowest in rank to him is the one who causes the greatest trial. One of them comes and says: 'I did such and such,' and he says: 'You have done nothing.' Then one of them comes and says: 'I did not leave him until I separated him from his wife.' He says: 'He draws him near to him and says: 'Indeed, you are good.'"

Moreover, celebrating this may involve evils and reprehensible acts, such as mixing of genders, ostentatious display (tabarruj), and music. It also closes the door to reconciliation between the spouses. If the husband was unjust and the wife was compelled to seek Khul' (divorce initiated by the wife), it is sufficient for her to praise Allah for her deliverance, without holding exaggerated celebrations.
