Is it permissible to temporarily (for four hours) attach an artificial hair extension for attending a wedding and then remove it?

Joining hair with human hair or impure hair is not permissible. As for joining hair with pure non-human hair, there is a difference of opinion among scholars. The more cautious approach is to avoid that.
